QQ_logoQQ, once just the biggest online instant messaging service, has become also the biggest online gaming company in China. And like other giant online game companies in China, QQ’s steps across the border line has quickened over the last year.

As an IM service company, QQ has an astonishing highest concurrent online user number over 90 million! Since Sep 2009, QQ’s market value has jumped to the 3rd place among all the Internet companies internationally, just behind Google and Amazon.

Following all that success, QQ is extending its online entertainment influence internationally. In 2009, QQ has acquired iBobo the leading Indian SNS, parternered up with Vina Games in Vietnam for the local market, investment in Korea and Italy hoping to bring QQ client, QQ game and Email service to the markets. The source claimed that the next target for QQ is Russia.

Over the ocean in the US where Internet started, QQ is working with AOL to introduce online games to the American; while an R&D has been setup in Boston.
